This is a pair of media converters, one Model LH1500A-ST, and one Model LH1500A-ST-R2, 100 Mb/s Black Box fiber optic media converters fully tested and working. I ran a test of the units and you can see the test setup here.

This test ran from my laptop on Ethernet to one converter box then onto fiber (2x40ft R/T) to the other box to Ethernet to a Cisco 2950 switch, to my firewall (Pentium 4-1.5Ghz machine) to my cable modem. Using speed test on dlsreports.com I got a respectable 1414Kb/s down and a 1276 Kb/s up. Please note this test does not mean that it will speed up your connection. Your connection speeds are determined by your ISP. This test just verifies that these fiber optic media converters are in perfect working order.
