10X Optical Zoom w/ Stabilizer

This is a one of the most popular classic digital cameras on the market. The Sony CD1000 features a 10X optical zoom with stabilizer that isn't found on many cameras. This one also saves photos and video to mini CDs. Unfortunately, this unit is not fully functional. We have tested all functions, except those that require taking a photo/video as the camera returns a "no disc" message even when a disc is loaded. I suspect that the lens (that reads the disc) could be the problem. Everything else appears to function normally. We are selling this as-is with no return for any reason. Included is the original manual, A/C power supply (to charge the camera) and an unbranded 7.2V 1150mAh battery that is charged and functional. The unit is in very good cosmetic condition with minimal scratching. Both lens cover and strap are also present.
